Tokyo 23 cities Walking Trip

There are 23 cities(wards) in Tokyo.
We try to go around each city on foot.  

This time we went to Ota and Shinagawa City in the southern part of Tokyo.

=ITINERARY=

Kamata Staion(JR Keihin Tohoku Line, Ota city)  - (5min walk) - Chinese Lunch

 - (10min walk) - Nishi Rokugo "Tire" Park - (20min Bus & walk) - Otorii Hneda -

(20min Bus & Walk) - Omori 4chome area -(30min Bus & walk) - Sinagawa Sinmei "Octpus" Park

-(10min Walk)- Oimachi  Izakaya "Bampaiya"

 

Chinese Restaurant "Huan Ying", Kamata  

 

There are many casual dining in Kamata, especially dumplings and pork cutlet's

restaurants are popular for local people.

 

Famous "Hanetuki Gyoza" Dumplings

 

 

"Kamataen" Rooftop Park

 It is the only rooftop Ferris wheel in Tokyo, the first generation was completed in 1968.

 

 

Nishirokugo(Tire) Park
After walking for 10 minutes to the south along JR line from Kamata station,
there is the Nishi Rokugo (Tire) Park with plenty of play equipment made of old tires.

 

 

Otorii near Haneda Airport

U.S. Army, who had been present in Haneda shortly after the war,

extended the airport for use as an air force base. At that time, accidents

broke out one after another at the place where they tried to remove this torii,

and was told that it was dangerous.















Omori 4chome Small Factory area

Ota City has one of most SMEs and Manufacturing Factory area
in Tokyo.

Day Trip to Azalea and Westeria Flowers

Tokyo = (90minutes by car via Shuto and Tohoku Expressway) = Tatebayashi City
(Tsustukigaoka Park) = (30minutes) = Ashikaga Flower Park = Back to Tokyo

Flowers in Tokyo, Setagaya Park

 

 




 



Even if cherry blossoms are scattered in Tokyo, you can enjoy a variety of other flowers
as Azalea are at Setagaya Park, and some small flowers are in full bloom on the path where
there was a river called Ryokudo.(near Ikejiri Ohashi Sta. of Tokyu Denen Toshi Line)
